The new group of kids of folk dance ensemble "HANDRLÁČEK" was founded in 2009 by the Kunovice town hall and elementary school.

 

The group shows rhymes, poems and pair dances of regions "Dolňácko", "Kopanice" and "Strání". The repertoire consists of single and choir songs, verbuňk - typical Moravian boy dances and pair dances as well. In short time the group has had a lot of success - took part in final round of singers competition "Zazpívej slavíčku", won the 1. place on best Verbuňk competition in 2011 and participated on The International Folk Dance Festival Strážnice. The ensemble  performed at several events in Kunovice and Uherské Hradiště, represented the Czech republic in Slovakia.

 

This year the group took part on competition of folk dance choreographies in Uherské Hradiště and made it to the regional round.

 

The collective is accompanied by Lintava folk music band (violin, cymbalo, contrabass, clarinet) with bandmaster O. Siman.

 

The leaders are Mgr. Ivana Janásová and Zdeňka Hašková.
